I can assure you that *every* single instance in which you have applied 
pressure in this group has been ineffective in accomplishing positive 
benefit.

To the extent that it has been effective, it has been effective in 
angering people who are working for the causes that you claim to advocate. 
Should you continue on your lamentable crusade, you may very well cause 
the very harm you seek to avoid.

Quite frankly, your behavior has the same impact on your audience that an 
American fundamentalist Christian preacher would have on an audience of 
moderate Muslims.  You anger your entire audience.  You turn people 
against you.  You cause people to think ill, not just of you, but of your 
nationality.

This effect is called "human nature".

If you wish to achieve positive results (not to mention avoid more riots), 
you would be well-served by studying this cause and effect; and paying 
attention to the lessons.

The first lesson would be: BE QUIET.  Refrain from posting.

The second lesson would be: CONTINUE TO BE QUIET until such time as you 
get over your insufferable air of haughty superiority.

I try not to post much on this list.  I am here more to listen than 
anything else.  But I am thoroughly weary of hearing you.

You may have something valuable to contribute, but you have so thoroughly 
poisoned the well that nobody will listen to you.  You are going to have 
to allow time for the poison to dissipate.

Historically, people in the IETF community have been forgiving of past 
sins.  But process can not start until you stop the sinning.
