A question about the role of the IESG

A starting point towards resolution would be:
	- for you (and others) to list specific places where overlap
	  is perceived between (IAB Charter & IESG activity) or between
	  (IAB Charter & draft IESG Charter).

Then the community could discuss specifics rather than generalities.
Maybe there are such points of confusion.  At the moment (not having
had my coffee today), they elude me.  So being specific would be 
helpful,
IMHO.

And I'm inferring that since the conversation is on this list, these 
areas
of overlapping scope are perceived as problems by at least some.
