Dave Perkins' appeal regarding SNMP was also both a technical and a process 
appeal (he asserted that the SMI was not well documented in certain areas, 
and that as a result taking MIBs and the SMI to Draft Standard failed the 
interoperability testing process step), which resulted in some specific 
attention to the SMI.
