Obviously this is something we have to discuss ASAP. My personal view
of the process differs significantly from the view of the RFC-Editor. I
must have missed when "IESG fixed the path".

There are two things hidden in here:

- Whether IESG respond within the timeout period given by RFC-Editor
- Whether RFC-Editor publish the document even if IESG doesn't respond

The delay thing (first bullet) is the overall IESG problem we talked
about -- together with the lack of timeouts in the internal IESG
process. The second bullet is different.

Regardless what the problem is, this needs to be resolved. First (I
think) by more talk between IESG and RFC-Editor _and_ resolution of the
issues we are aware about internally in the IESG.
