hi-Latn to en translator

Sort of.  You can go to http://www.google.com/transliterate and
choose Hindi from the leftmost drop-down, and type your in-Latn at
it.  It will transliterate word by word.  When you are done, copy
and paste into Google Translate at http://translate.google.com.  I
tried this (following a demo) with the string "manmohan singh is
desh ke pradhanmantri hein !", which was correctly transliterated
into "मनमोहन सिंह इस देश के
प्रधानमंत्री हैं !" and then translated
as "Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of this country!"

So far so good.  Unfortunately, the transliterator is *too* interactive.
You can't just paste text at it, or the text just sits there.  You
then have to painstakingly put the cursor at the end of each in-Latn
word and type a space (even though one is already there) to trigger
transliteration.

Note also that the transliterator is a Google Labs product, which means
it may change or disappear at any time without warning.
