New version of Defs (-02)

Hi.

A new version of Definitions, including changes discussed during
and after yesterday's meeting, is in the posting queue on the
theory that we are finished with it for this meeting.

A new version of Protocol is ready but, since there is at least
some significant interaction with Rationale (see the note in the
existing draft), I'm holding it until we complete the discussion
of Rationale today.
