Ladies and Gentlemen of the IDNAbis Working Group,

The IETF meeting in Dublin is fast approaching. I have requested two
sessions of two hours each, hoping that we may in fact not need that
much time. The room is supposed to hold as many as 100 attendees
although I hope there will be fewer than that, possibly helping us
reach conclusions more quickly.

The Working Group is currently on a vector to produce output in the
form of four documents. These documents are as follows:

1. draft-ietf-idnabis-rationale-00.txt (editor: John Klensin)

2. draft-ietf-idnabis-protocol-01.txt (editor: John Klensin)

3. draft-ietf-idnabis-bidi-01.txt (editor: Harald Alvestrand)

4. draft-ietf-idnabis-tables-01.txt (editor: Patrik Fältström)

If there is interest in an alternative to this format, it would be
helpful for WG members to make specific proposals for consideration.
In the absence of a consensus for change, the work will likely emerge
through the documents cited above. Setting aside the general matter
of document format, we also need to identify and specific issues with
the present contents of each document.

WG ACTION REQUEST:

It would be very helpful if WG members would send concise issues
(especially proposed changes to documents) to each of the document
editors. I ask the editors to compile these issues and organize them
in a form that can be discussed and hopefully resolved during the
Dublin IDNAbis WG meeting. Simple editorial change proposals received
by July 14 may possibly be reflected in revised documents in time for
the Dublin meeting.

Proposed agenda for the two IETF meetings
