The changes needed to finish when I stopped reading in December were:

- Stop moaning over the fact that allowing eszett and final sigma
creates problems, and accept that continuing to disallow them creates
worse problems.
- Find a description of "what you do to get an U-label from user input"
that is both reasonable and acceptable to most (that seems to be 2
rather orthogonal criteria).

Neither of those would cause any technical change to the normative part
of the existing document, so I consider them "microscopic".

There may have been other issues surfaced in January; in reading from
the back, I didn't see any at the time I sent my note.

I was reading your charter, which assumes that 6 months of document
wrangling is needed, based on a charter text that I don't agree with (so
I'm assuming that we'd have to discuss that too). I haven't read your
proposal.
