TimeTracker usage statistics

Period: This year

Number of users

Total different user IDs: 1865

These statistics are based on the UDP packets received by me from TIMETRACKER versions that have been compiled without the DO_NOT_TELL_ABOUT_ME flag. No individual statistics will be made available; I don't give out personal information!

There are a number of sources for errors here:

Still, you might find it interesting!

Operating systems observed

These figures are made based on the output of "uname -mrs" (or its equivalent library call) on the various hosts. For IBM AIX machines, this will return the CPU number in the "HW" field; this has been decoded, there is a 2-digit field in there that gives the CPU type.
A (strange) field means that I don't have this CPU in my list of decodings.

The CPU names are taken from the AIX FAQ from comp.unix.aix, Question 126 (hypertext at emory.edu; the question URL looks as if it's not intended to be permanent; take care!)

The strangely named operating systems below are probably SCO Unix variants; some of these seem to set the "name of operating system" to the nodename of the machine. Weird!
