actually that might be a good move....although using examples more than 1 
month old is probably better for the heat of the debate....

if I don't have an example in front of me, I can't tell the difference 
between "I am the Found Of All Wisdom, and you must bow to my words" and "I 
explained this to you twice, and I will not explain it again until I see 
that you bothered to think about what I said the first 2 times"".

one is, as I think everyone agrees, unacceptable; the other is probably 
unavoidable given our wide disparity of experience (and I'm talking about 
TYPES of experience, not amount of it - Jim, I think you probably know as 
little about Unicode sort orders as I know about Decnet phase 5....)
