but WEP gets the award for doing it in a radio broadcast.  before we
had WEP, were the ietf security wonks posting major warnings.

and this is not just theory.  *serious* damage to innocents is
resulting.

no.  i was merely discussing 802 as a paragon of standards body success.

small things can be done qickly.  larger things, and things with many
interactions with other things, require more time and a lot more thought,
and by smart people.
