Is 1377 needed for example on SDH/SONET circuits (I think you run PPP
over those, but not 100% sure)? If so, it should definitely not be
made Historic. While there is some use of Appletalk PPP, I'd be
surprised if there were new deployments using it so it could be made
historic.

Good questions. Maybe folks more intimate with PPP deployments could
comment.

I don't know about usage, but I've seen it implemented, yes.
