Please, no. We should use years to form subtags only when they have real 
significance in distinguishing the language variety. '1989oxon' would 
imply that the 1st Edition recommended different rules for spelling, 
capitalization, or whatever else the tag is supposed to express. I 
relent: 'oxendict' is fine.
