Here is the second set of ISO 639-3–based changes. This is from the
third section of the Summary of Outcomes document, "Entirely new code
elements." As a reminder, none of the changes listed in the second
section were approved.
These records and registration forms are again shown in the order they
appear in the ISO 639-3 document. All non-ASCII characters are shown
here literally, not with hard-to-read NCR fallbacks, because the gmane
archive site (unlike the previous one) appears to preserve them.
This is the batch of records that includes ǂUngkue. My understanding of
the discussion on this list is that we should add both the actual
spelling, with the click letter, and the ASCII fallback spelling. Per
Section 3.1.5, the actual spelling (which matches ISO 639-3) is listed
first. This would be reversed if we go back and add click-letter
spellings to the languages for which ISO 639-3 still shows only the
ASCII fallback.
Note that a new sign language is being added (Inuit Sign Language), so
we have both a primary and an extended language subtag for that one.
