From Michael's registration form I assumed it was for an orthography.
However, the first two of the Web links provided in the form seem to
emphasize that this is either a dialect of Scots or a distinct language.
(The third link is focused mainly on the people and their heritage and
not specifically on linguistic matters.)
It would not be surprising if resources that celebrate the Ulster-Scots
people and their heritage are more likely to consider this a separate
language or dialect, and less likely to consider it an orthography of
Scots.
If this is an orthography, Michael's submission should be fine as is.
If it is a dialect, the submission (including the record with its
Description field) should be amended to say so. And if it is a
language, this request should be taken to ISO 639-3/RA.
