scy is not a code in Ethnologue in its 16th edition.

Unfortunately that is not the end of "scy" (yet):

I would not mind at all if a *language* code was assigned to
*Old* Scanian or (modern) Bornholmian. But *modern* Scanian is a
dialect of Swedish, and not the most distinctive one either.

You may even judge the seriousness of the proposal by reading the
email address of the proposer... "skanes_kung", "King of Skåne", as
a Hotmail address; there's a joker popping out of a box for you!

I'm a bit disappointed with the Swedia site (http://swedia.ling.gu.se/).
Coming from "outside" and sticking a microphone in someone's face
does not encourage the subjects to *really* speak their dialect...
