Interesting point.

So I assume that means that "karaoke" tagged as ja-Latn would be 
pronounced (somewhat like "kah-rah-oh-kay" to an English speaker), whereas 
"karaoke" tagged as "en" would be pronounced as "kerry-oh-key"?  :-)
