Yes, like en or de.

Does it exist in any shape or form apart from "not western" ?

If it's just "normal Armenian plus all dialects excluding
western" (and the two locations in Lebanon and Syria listed
on the code=hye page, apparently special cases of "western"),
then it's not very interesting.  The registry also contains
no "hochdeut"(sch) or "nonnds" for de, or "postang" for "en".

If the Armenian folks want it it's okay, but if it's mainly
redundant I don't see the point.
