The West African country has for a long, long time conventionally been called Ivory Coast in English-language literature. On the other hand, AFAIK it is not conventional in English-language literature to use "Book Norwegian" or "New Norwegian" as language names; rather, these are called Nynorsk and Bokmaal / Bokmal.
