Although it probably isn't worth changing the registry now that it's 
there, I have to question "Let it stet".

Shouldn't that be either "stet" or "let it stand"?  It seems to me that 
"let it stet" is a tautology, akin to "Klutina River" or "Mt. Fuji-san".
