Forbidden short tags make me worry

The requirement for any tag to be at least five characters makes me feel
uneasy. It's like trying to come with a three letter code for Yi.
Difference is that you can't easily do that with tags that are supposed
to be full words or something. Say you want to register "Dari" (a
dialect of Persian spoken by Tajiks in Afghanistan). How do you make it
longer to make it five letters?

It may be unavoidable, I agree.
