FWIW, I also prefer -oed over -oxford, for the reasons given by
others: -oxford, as the name of a place, sounds like it refers to the
dialect spoken in that region, whereas -oed more clearly refers to the
orthography (and usage?) of the Oxford English Dictionary.

I'm not sure about en-gb-oed vs. en-oed.  Is it reasonable to talk about
en-us-oed, en-au-oed, and so forth?
