Claiming that the WG "ignored" a significant group of participants is fairly insulting. The fact that the WG, after a lot of discussion, disagreed with a significant architectural design proposed by one set of participants does not mean that those people were ignored: it means there was a difference of opinion.

Is there a good reason why the recent threads here have become so heated and accusatory? This is not a good environment in which to get WG participants who have yet to speak to feel comfortable in doing so.
