I thank the MLTF members for their help and wish to repeat this mail
due to its importance for ccTLDs in Africa, its urgency for the
organisation of the concerned collaborative work, and the trust
expressed by the organisers in a fruitful mutual cooperation with
IETF engineers, Unicode experts, and ICANN coordinators.

There is a MAAYA (http://maaya.org) face to face collaborative work
planed for this early November at international academic level on
malicious uses of Internationalized Domain Name and ccTLDs under
African domains. The target would be to investigate, propose and
report on the related security problems. Marcel Diki-Kidiri, the
African linguist/terminologist in charge of the preparation of the
workshop charter is not an engineer and would like to know how to
best describe what ICANN, IETF and Draft authors could expect from
them. In particular, he wishes to know if there are African specific
issues which could be of interest to this WG and Fast Track and
authors (in particular in the Unicode and IANA ccTLD tables areas).

I also send him a reminder in French of the involved architectural,
technical, multilinguistical, terminological issues; but it would be
good if he could get authorized reviews and directly relate with
concerned IETF/ICANN Members.

However he has no time to dig into all this background information; I
pointed him towards the WG-IDNABIS page :
