ITU-T assigned OIDs

These are defined in X.680(1994 E) annex C, also known as ISO/IEC 8824-1:1995

ITU-T Recommendation

To quote X.208:
The arcs below "recommendation" have the value 1 to 26 with assigned identifiers of a to z. Arcs below these have the numbers of ITU-T Recommendations in the series identified by the letter. Arcs below this are determined as necessary by the ITU-T Recommendation. The identifiers a to z may be used as a "NameForm".
Thus, a hypothetical OID from I.211 would start with 0.0.9.211

ITU-T Question

Again quoting:
The arcs below "question" have values corresponding to ITU-T Study Groups, qualified by the Study Period. The value is computed by the formula:

study group number + (Period * 32)

where "Period" has the value 0 for 1984-1988, 1 for 1988-1992, etc., and the multiplier is 32 decimal.

I don't know if this is worth anything now, since the study period system seems to have been discontinued.

ITU-T Administration

These are numbered with the values of X.121 DCCs (3-digit codes).

The present list (SHORT!) of codes under this node.

ITU-T Network Operator

These are numbered with the values of X.121 DNICs (4-digit codes). Note that the first 3 digits of a DNIC is a DCC!

A list of DNICs is in Robinton's "Telex answerback codes" document, currently an Internet-Draft.

ITU-T Identified Organization

(This assignment is a change from X.208 to X.680)

Quoting X.680: "The arcs below "identified-organization" are assigned values by the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB). Arcs below this are determined as necessary by the organizations identified by the value of the ITU."

ITU-T Data

This OID is not listed in X.208. It is used in several RFCs.

The actual OIDs seen all start with 0.9.2342
