Draft: draft-ietf-webdav-quota-07 Reviewer: Spencer Dawkins [spencer@mcsr-labs.org] Review Date: Thursday 8/11/2005 4:12 PM LC Date: 7/25/2005 Summary: this document is very close to being ready for publication as Proposed Standard. This document is very clearly written and (from what I remember about a variety of file systems) very accurate. I have only one suggestion - the material contained in section 7, Notes, seems way too important to bury this late in the document, because it describes a lot of important considerations for WebDAV clients (and the people who use them). I think the material is important enough to appear between Sections 2 and 3, with a title like "Interpreting DAV:quota-available-bytes and DAV:quota-used-bytes"). (I was looking for this as I read, because I've spent WAY too much time trying to explain to people that just because a system call says "this much space is available", doesn't mean you can actually put something exactly that size in the available space :-) I am also curious about why it is only RECOMMENDED to return these attributes, but I figure this has been previously discussed in the working group?
