Draft: draft-ietf-tsvwg-ecn-alternates-01.txt Reviewer: Spencer Dawkins [spencer@mcsr-labs.org] Review Date: Wednesday 8/9/2006 5:45 PM CST IETF LC Date: 8/14/2006 Summary: this draft is almost ready for publication. I have some very minor comments that I'm sending along. Please look at these comments along with any other Last Call comments you may receive. I have no editorial nits for this draft - thanks! It was clean and easy to understand... ----------- - this draft is targeted as a BCP - just seems strange, because it's a lot more like a requirements document. If everyone else is OK with this, I'm ok (just confused about why considerations for additional work on ECN would be a BCP). - In Figure 1, I THINK the "Old Router" is actually an "Old Router Experiencing Congestion" - is this correct? If so, labeling the router as "experiencing congestion" would have helped me - at first glance, the figure seems to say "old routers drop non-ECN traffic", but what I think is actually meant is "old routers drop non-ECN traffic when they encounter congestion because there is no other choice".
