Document: draft-ietf-smime-rfc2633bis-09 Reviewer: Michael Patton Date: May 13, 2004 Summary: This draft is ready for publication as a RFC The draft agenda lists it as going for Proposed, the existing RFC is listed in the index as already PS and from the minor quality of the changes, I'm not sure why it's recycling at PS rather than advancing, but the reasons don't matter, it's certainly OK for it to do that. I did have a few trivial nits: Section 1.5 has the title "Changes Since S/MIME v3.0" But all other references have the earlier version as version 3 not as version 3.0, including the RFC that's being replaced. So, I think this section title should be "Changes Since S/MIME v3" In 2.5.2.1 the text "... the value rC2-CBC as defined in [CMSALG]." appears. The capitalization of rC2-CBC seems strange, shouldn't it be RC2-CBC? In a quick scan of the referenced document, RC2 appears with both letters upper case in all cases, except where it occurs in ASN.1 statements. There's a simple typo in section 3.1.2 last paragraph "...if this capability in unknown" should be "...if this capability is unknown"
