Document: draft-ietf-ospf-mib-update-10.txt Reviewer: Spencer Dawkins [spencer@mcsr-labs.org] Review Date: Wednesday 4/12/2006 4:36 AM CST IESG Telechat Date: Thursday, 13 April 2006 Summary: Ready. Version 10 of "OSPF Version 2 Management Information Base" is now available in the repository (I had reviewed version 9). I'm not smart enough to review the changes, but I am smart enough to know that there are previously-Unsigned32 attributes that are now Integer32 attributes - this was the identified change from previous reviews. Just as a heads-up to Brian - there are other changes from 09 (for instance, ospfHostAreaID was current, but is now deprecated). I didn't see anything that looked problematic, but it might be good to ask if people noticed the other changes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Review Date: Monday 3/13/2006 6:08 AM CST IETF LC Date: 3 April 2006 Summary: This document is a fairly significant revision to a Proposed Standard. The most significant revisions are adding MIB support for new OSPF mechanisms like graceful restart. Other revisions add security considerations like "don't use SNMPv1 unless you have a really secure environment". The revisions are reasonable (except for the signed-to-unsigned revision noted in Bert's review, but his review is already in the ID tracker). It's on the right track for publication as a Proposed Standard.
