Document: draft-ietf-iptel-rfc2806bis-08 Reviewer: Mark Allman Date: June 9, 2004 This i-d looks fine to me; I don't have any large heartburn. I went through pretty quickly, but a couple of nits ... * The second paragraph of section 3 is pretty convoluted. I think there is a clearer way to say that when using the special characters as delimiters they MUST NOT be escaped and when they are used as something other than a delimiter then they MUST be escaped. * Section 4, third bullet: ", The" --> ", the" * Section 5.1: I assume that the last paragraph means that one cannot assume any conventions about a telephone number -- e.g., that there is a strategically placed "0" or "1". If this is the case, I think the statement in the document should be broadened a bit to include things other than the examples given. * Section 5.1.2: I wondered whether a context could be used to clear up the ambiguity of using letters in phone numbers. (Maybe not, I am clearly not expert in these matters and so I might be missing something fundemental.) allman
