Draft: draft-ietf-bmwg-ospfconv-intraarea-07 Reviewer: Brian Carpenter Date: March 30, 2004 basically OK to publish, but they need complete de-nitting first. No table of contents, no copyright boilerplate. MUST NOT used without definition. Minor errors in English. Weak Security Considerations section. This draft has not been nitted. It's a perfectly reasonable description of a methodology for testing OSPF router convergence (as defined in the previous draft). Apart from the following gripe, and the nits, I think it's useful work and should be published. Gripe: "While this draft assumes OSPFv2, which only carries routing informa- tion for IPv4 destinations, nothing in this draft precludes it from use with OSPFv3, which carries IPv6 destinations." I really don't think we should be publishing such statements, which make IPv6 sound like a poor relation. Surely we should be able to say This document applies to both OSPFv2 and OSPFv3, and hence to both IPv4 and IPv6.
