Can you tell me what the difference is between what I have now and a 
publishable I-D?

An aside: creating this was more trouble than it needed to be, given how 
many similar things are out there already.  The blocking factor was that 
there was a lack of sample RFC 2629 documents to cannibalize.  This 
forced me to actually read and comprehend the RFC from soup to nuts, 
which is always a slow operation.

To help improve on this, I'd like to contribute my RFC 2629 XML back to 
the community - it is at
http://xspf.org/specs/draft-gonze-media-type-xspf/draft-gonze-media-type-xspf.xml

That document should be a handy shortcut to registrants of other 
XML-based media types.  (and if there are suggestions for making it a 
better template document, I'd be happy to incorporate them).
