As the ISO-639-6 will provide a hierarchical structure and it will also use the codes as they exist in the other ISO-639 version. I expect as a consequence the following structure<br>

</div>In the case of no vs. nb vs. nn, the ship sailed from ISO 639-1/2 way<br>
before any of us could do anything about it. The older forms no-bok<br>
and no-nyn are still available, though deprecated.<br>
