Clearly, there has not been a formal request.

One question: do you mean that just how the spelling is done is covered
by the kichwa orthography, and that (somewhat) different words are still
used for the different Quechan languages (in Ecuador) when using this
orthography?

If so, the proposed kichwa variant should have the individual languages as
(listed, i.e., recommended) prefixes. Only if the words are *also*
commonalised, I would find "qu" to be ok as (the only recommended) prefix,
or (only) the code for the Quechan language closest to the chosen set of
words.
