> What is the recommendation for Scouse?

There is no specific recommendation for en-GB-scouse (sorry about the
use of -UK- earlier), which means that en-scouse will tend to be used
by default. The same is true of our entire set of subtags with the
exception of the dialects of Rezian, which are all sl-rozaj-X,
and the fonipa and fonupa tags, which are unconstrained.

Here's the list for convenient reference: frm-1606nict,
fr-1694acad, de-1901, de-1996, hy-arevela, hy-arevmda,
{az,ba,crh,kk,krc,ky,sah,tk,tt,uz}-baku1926, en-boont, el-monoton,
el-polyton, sl-nedis, en-scouse, be-tarask, ca-valencia.

Of course, nothing prevents you from writing de-AT-1901 if that's what
you mean, or for that matter el-CY-polyton if *that's* what you mean.
It's about the minimum recommendation, not the maximum.

There are books that are at once excellent and boring. Those that at
once leap to the mind are Thoreau's Walden, Emerson's Essays, George
Eliot's Adam Bede, and Landor's Dialogues. --Somerset Maugham
