IIRC Harald uses mailman, and then subscribers could
configure their subscription to get no list copies for
mails that they *should* also get directly.

I can't tell how good mailman is with interpreting To:
and Cc: header fields, and if it manages that correctly
these header fields could be a lie.    

But it's an option for Michael if his MUA is even more
rustical than my MUA.  In that case LTRU should be very
careful about sending UTF-8 to IANA in 4646bis... <eg>

Mail-Followup-To is no registered header field, compare

Mailing lists often abuse Reply-To for their own purposes,
like they abuse "Sender" (for Sender-ID that would be an
"experiment"), add spam footers to the body, or add tags
to the subject.

Another idea in this direction was Mail-Copies-To: with
IIRC values like "never".  Maybe we could sort it out on
the rfc822 list.
