In 2004 there was a request to add Jèrriais to ISO 639-2 but it was not accepted by the JAC due to lack of evidence for divisions within Norman. AFAIK no request for adding Norman to ISO 639 has ever been received, though there was some discussion as to Norman possibly warranting its own ID.
