Side remark: Afrikaans is a dialect of Dutch, and fully mutually
intelligible with Dutch, at least in speech. The spelling may be 
considered funny...

Hmm. I wonder if I should start preparing a list of dialects 
of Swedish (and Norwegian and Danish) to register tags for them...
The list may get quite long... Naa... I think that would be going
too far. I like the "@" (or "-x-") suggestion though.
