Yes, I know that. I was asking specifically Michael to comment on the pieces.
I thought we might make progress that way.

However, from the last mails, the sticking point is (today) that we are trying
to fit the registrations into a pattern, and there might be differences of
opinion on the best pattern or how future registrations might fit the pattern.

Perhaps, we should eliminate pattern from the discussion and just focus on
registering the languages and the names be damned.

If the naming pattern is important, Michael is right to hesitate. If the
pattern is unimportant, then the specific names are not critical, what is
important is that we need the languages registered.

We seem to have lost sight of the questions that we really need to answer to
register a language.

Are there important differences (to software) that these names distinguish
among languages? yes.
