The ISO 639 Registration Authorities' Joint Advisory Committee (JAC) has
approved the following:
Alpha-3 identifier: mdf (No alpha-2 identifier.)
English name: Moksha
French name: moksa [s with caron]
Indigenous name: mokshen' kjal
Moksha is a Finno-Ugric language spoken in Russia.
The official ISO 639 web site is found at
http://lcweb.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/. That web site lists both the
alpha-2 and the alpha-3 language code lists, as well as all updates. On the
web site there is also a request form for new language identifiers.
