Respectfully, capitals in French have nothing to do with majuscules (I
expected this was known to all now on this list?).

Also, French, Swiss, Canadian handling of capitals are diferent. You know,
French is a very odd thing as it is normalized (for 470 years 30 days from
today). It actually is in many ways managed as a technology. And the way
French speakers speak, write, joke, and think (eventhough French citizens
are far less good at their own language than Senegaleses, Swiss, or
Canadians) is pretty influenced by a constant mix of language and
metalanguage.

This is why the planned linguistic/semantic French and African test projects
are of interest. And their position to include English interfacing as a
structural part of their project.

Pretty much everyone on this list seriously considering IDNAbis is ignoring

If you consider what you say, you will see that only our reading of the
existing Internet architecture (we propose nothing new, just to explore the
way the Internet is built) can address what you say. We do not say however
that this will not cause problems. But the consideration of these problems
has to be undertaken: they cannot be blocked.

Your priviledge. You will note however that this may not help much in
addressing the subject !
