Which was completely unrealistic from the beginning. The schedule had
absolutely non consensus at the time of the WG creation but this was
ignored by the IESG.

Off-topic: wether ICANN does something or not is irrelevant to us. I
notice there is already an IDN standard and therefore ICANN has no
need to wait for a revision.
