What is at stake is the network(ed) support of languages. There is no doubt that you are a language expert, what I am not. My area is networking architecture and my research is how the network architecture should support languages. I hoped you would specify your needs. You prefer to tell us our job. OK, so I need to look at it by myself. This English speaking list fully documents how English language interoperates with other languages when it is at the core (where everyone accepts to use English). Due to the importance of English on the Web, it is of the essence to document how it interoperates when it is not at the core (on another language mailing list). Since you say you learned French, I tested a mail in French. I am now in a position to document that English language when addressed in French language responds in Irish language. Further studies are now necessary. Interesting. jfc _______________________________________________ Ietf-languages mailing list Ietf-languages@alvestrand.no http://www.alvestrand.no/mailman/listinfo/ietf-languages
