UDC just choses to update its change on Jan 1st every year as did Internet when created. Every military publication in the world, every legal texts, every commercial catalog, etc. has the same problem. if AI was valid until 31/12/77 there are three entries in the tables: AI77 262 AI 660 DJ 262 = 18 bytes 262 Djibouti 660 Anguilla = 22 bytes The application will use the date of the file to know the proper value of "AI". This covers years -32.000 to + 32,000 . The requirement is only that a datetag is provided or obtained from the file directory. jfc J-F C.
