Document: draft-ietf-imapext-sort-19.txt Reviewer: Spencer Dawkins Review Date: 2008-02-28 IETF LC End Date: 2008-03-04 IESG Telechat date: 2008-03-27 Summary: This document is ready for publication as a Proposed Standard Comments: Mark Allman said "ready for publication as a proposed standard" in March 2004, reviewing -14. I saw nothing in the diffs between -14 and -19 to change this opinion from a generalist point of view. I did see the current last call discussion on the IETF mailing list, but agree with Pete Resnick that the ship has sailed on basic functionality for publication as a Proposed Standard. I didn't say "this draft has suffered enough" as my summary, but I thought about it. ========================================================================================= Document: draft-ietf-imapext-sort-14 Reviewer: Mark Allman Date: March 17,2004 I think this draft is ready for publication as a proposed standard. The draft is fairly clear and complete, I think. If it is to be tweaked again I have only a couple small nits that could be addressed - even in auth48, I think): * In section 2.1 a forward reference to the ABNF presented in section 5 would be nice. * 2.1: "[IMAP-MODEL]" --> "[IMAP-MODEL])" * At the very end of 2.2 a reference to "SEARCH" would be useful. * BASE.6.4.SORT: The draft notes that UID SORT is to SORT what UID SEARCH is to SEARCH. But, this makes zero sense to me. A couple line sketch of this relationship would be helpful, I think. None of these are big deals. I would not hold up the draft on them, clearly.
