The Minutes for the Meeting March 9th, and the calls March 17th
and 24th, having previously been distributed, were approved.

Next steps in IAD hiring

References having been requested from some of the IAD candidates,
and received from one candidate to date, the dividing up of reference follow-up among team members
was discussed. Reference follow-ups will be conducted primarily by phone. This will be complicated
for the upcoming week by the travel of two Team members to Argentina for the ICANN meeting. It was
decided that Lucy Lynch will divide the references among the Team members, and will make
inquires after the two Team members on travel arrive in Argentina, to see to what extent they will
be available to call references.

The questions to be asked of references were also discussed, as it was felt in a distributed effort
such as this, standardized questions were essential.

The consensus was that follow-up interviews will be required before actual selection of the IAD. The possible scheduling of physical interviews (probably at the ISOC HQ in Virginia, possibly in Geneva) was discussed; due to Team member's travel schedules, this will be difficult before the end of
April.

The IAOC Transition

Brian Carpenter informed the Team that there should be an announcement of the official start of the
IAOC within the next week. In case existing Team members are not part of the IAOC, the Team decided
that they would become advisors to the IAOC and act on its behalf to the extent needed (for
reference follow-up, for example). Logistical details of the IAOC transition were also discussed,
such as the need for IAOC and IASA email addresses and possibly web sites.

IETF Legal Matters

The call March 23rd with IETF Counsel Jorge Contreras was reviewed and discussed.
